GOTCHA DAY! Get Grace in the afternoon!!
9/7 Adoption Registration. Adoption is finalized. She's all ours!
Trip to the local department store for baby supplies.
9/8 Dr. Visit in AM for baby Grace and the other babies
Sharon gets sick and spends most of the afternoon in bed.
9/9 Go to Tan Wang Pavillion. Lunch at local restaurant with the group.
9/10 Go to local village. Eat at Pizza Hut.
Get 1 hour long massages.
Receive notarized adoption documents this afternoon
9/11 Go to the Park and then to the Porcelain store.
Receive Grace's Registration Certificate and passport.
9/12 Leave Nanchang for Guangzhou (where the U.S. Consulate is) at 2:30 pm
9/13 Visit the Buddhist Temple, Old Chen House/ Provincial Arts & Crafts Shopping ctr.
Eat lunch at Lucy's. Sharon shops.
Get Grace's visa photo taken.
Group dinner at the Cow & Bridge Thai restaurant
9/14 Grace's visa physical and visa photo are taken early this morning.
Pat meets with CCAI rep to prepare paperwork for the Consulate appointment
Sharon shops with Grace.
Eat with most of the group at the German Restaurant. Shop some more.
9/15 CCAI rep delivers our visa application document packet to the US Consulate
Adoption Unit.
Trip to the Pearl Market and the Electronics Market (for DVDs and CDs)
Group pictures at the Red couches.
9/16 Go to the U.S. Consulate to take the oath in the afternoon.
Visit a local large Asian market.
Receive our visas at the conclusion of the oath ceremony.
Grace is officially a United States citizen!
9/17 Prepare for trip home. Get messages.
